Art House Foundation is a small artist led commissioning charity.

Founded in 2008 by Caroline Rolf and Keith Wilson, ahf embodies a dialogue between practice at different stages of a career. Our particular interests loosely explore object, exhibition making and text. We support emerging and established artists through an in depth engagement with their practice to develop and exhibit new work and through the provision of affordable studio space. We also offer local educational establishments proximity to all professional practice associated with the commissioning process.

We encourage each commission to evolve in its own way and focus on the work which then informs how it will best engage with its audience. Ahf’s programme includes a series of one off temporary projects alongside longer term works and residencies and continuing relationships with some artists.

Based in London ahf is a non profit organisation which is currently not regularly funded by major funding bodies. We therefore seek support on a project by project basis from a diverse range of public and private sector partners who are vital to the success of our work.
